Daniel Koenig is a filmmaker and visual artists best known for his documentary work as a director/producer for Power 10 Films. Daniel received his Bachelors degree in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma specializing in Broadcast & Electronic Media with and emphasis in Documentary Filmmaking. He was awarded the Highest Academic Achievement upon graduation for having the highest GPA within his degree.
Upon graduation, Daniel began working in Arizona as a Production Coordinator at Delta Video Productions where he coordinated and directed live sporting webcasts of high school sports. He also began working in freelance film and commercial production starting in the Art Department and working his way through nearly every department. To date he has worked in over a dozen feature films and countless commercials including ads for corporations such as Coca-Cola, Ace Hardware and Adidas.
In 2013, Daniel launched Power 10 Films with the intent of producing meaningful documentaries. His first film, Trials: Finding the Medal, followed the lives of four elite para-rowers as they try for a spot on the US National Rowing Team. This film was screened in over a dozen cities across the US and selected in 6 film festivals. It won Best Documentary at LADFF and Most Inspirational Film at FYDFF. His second project was a 10 part documentary series following the University of Alabama's wheelchair basketball teams. This series is currently streaming online and has been covered by many newspapers and magazines across the country.
